About Overview

I have a BFA Ad Design from Boise State University with an emphasis in photography. After college I entered into the Navy's Naval Flight School in Pensacola, FL. I graduated from Aviation Officer Candidate School and entered the Navigation Flight Officer pipeline. It leaked, with about 90% of the class finding other billets in the Navy. I ended up as a Reserver Public Affairs Officer doing my reserve service with the Atlanta CHINFO office, i.e. "The Naval Office of Information Southeast." Reserve service included time at the Pentagon, FTG San Diego and NAS Cuba.
At the same time I supervised a repair shop for professional photo-electronics (1983-'87). I followed this with assisting studio and location photographers.
In 1989 I started working with Suzanne Anderson and Assoc., Inc. as a photographer and used my graphic design background for the their graphics side. We produced annual reports, brochures and point of sale print using programs ranging from QuarkXpress, Freehand to Adobe's Photoshop (1990) and Illustrator using the Macintosh.

A Little History

Both sides of my parent's families have roots in Idaho from the late 1800's.
My father's family were hardrock miners from Cornwall, England. Migrating after the American Civil War, our limb of the family tree followed the mine exploration in America, from Colorada to California to Idaho. Portions of the family were also into sheep growing, in fact a murder of a Muldoon, Id sheepman in 1898 was of Matthew Smithan

More History

My mother's father came to Idaho following his brothers to Idaho. From Moffatt, Scotland, his family name was known on the Border's since the 1100's. Versions of the name Little (Petty)have also been found on Roman pay forms from the time of Hadrian's wall. The name has popped up at other times in Scotland's history, particularly during the time of Brave Heart "William Wallace" whose nephew, a Little, fought beside him.
Five Little brother's left Scotland and moved mostly to the western portion of the State of Idaho. My grand father, James Dalgleish Little, worked with his brother Andrew Little for seven years before starting his own sheep ranching enterprise in eastern Idaho in the Little Lost River Valley.
